Today i observed three very different faces of life, I passed by a man and his son, a toddler was held safely in his father's arms. His face was filled with pure joy and wonder, as he looked beyond the roads witnessing amazing things in his brand new world. It is the beginning of a beginning, and a smile turned up on my face with the power and sweetness of this simple thought.

one of my batch mate was sitting on a rock and was gazing into the distance. He looked sad and forlorn, as the breeze blew by and made the leaves flutter on the tree next to him, in this lonely scene. I was reminded of other days in the past when sadness and hopelessness were my only companions. I said a silent prayer for him, and profound thanks, to God, for me.

An old woman leaned on a fence post, looking into some other time. She doesn't seem either happy or sad, just gazed into the past, or maybe the future. I wonder what her ageing, but still lovely eyes have seen, in the time that she has spent in this world. Where has she been? What amazing things has she witnessed? A lifetime lays hidden behind her eyes. A feeling of timeless peace flew through me and all fear of what the future might bring drained away. I thanked her with my thoughts, and moved on.

Today i have learnt that there is something positive in any human being or things surrounding you, you just need eyes to see that
There are no moments when nothing is happening, so live and cherish each and every moment of your life

I used to think life was all about being happy,
I used to think life was all about a smile.
But that day I knew that it was not true
and you realize this only when you are blue

In life came a point when I wanted to cry
And then came a point when I wanted to die.
But death was not my alley;
and life felt like an empty valley.

Yet there was light
Yet there was hope,
which taught me how to cope.
With time the wounds did heal
And soon the pain, I didn’t feel
I believe a new dawn will always rise
and happiness surely comes in disguise

I’ll never walk with you,
You might leave n walk ahead.
As a statue can’t I stand either,
I’ll move, alone I was, alone I’m…

Though dark does this way may seem,
You might want ‘us’ to lit the lantern,
But,
I’ll never walk with you again,
You might burn me and walk ahead.
As ash can’t I rest either,
I’ll reincarnate,
Alive I was, Alive I’m

They say it’s all about walking together,
In love, along the beach, in the bliss.
Then why am I walking alone ?
In insecurities, along the pain, in the dust…
A river of tears I carry mended in lies
Some bleeding dreams dance in my flaxen eyes.

Though entangled in web this way may seem,
You may want ‘us’ to ax the mushy greens.
But,
I’ll never walk with you again,
You might incise me and walk ahead.
As a beef can’t I bleed either,
I’ll re-join
One I was, One I am…

I've learnt - That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I've learnt - That sometimes when my friends fight, I'm forced to choose sides
even when I don't want to.

I've learnt - That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.

I've learnt - That sometimes you have to put the individual ahead of their actions.

I've learnt - That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I've learnt - That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.

I've learnt - That two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I've learnt - That there are many ways of falling and staying in love.

I've learnt - That no matter the consequences, those who are honest with themselves get farther in life.

I've learnt - That no matter how many friends you have, if you are their pillar
you will feel lonely and lost at the times you need them most.

I've learnt - That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.

I've learnt - That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

I've learnt - That writing, as well as talking, can ease emotional pains.

I've learnt - That the paradigm we live in is not all that is offered to us.

I've learnt - That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I've learnt- That the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon.

I've learnt- That although the word "love" can have many different meanings,
it loses value when overly used.

I've learnt - That it's hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you believe.
